Samson Solar Energy Center Team Participates in the Lamar County Livestock Show

At the end of March 2025, the Samson Solar Energy Center team participated in the Lamar County Jr. Livestock Association show where local students have the opportunity to auction off animals they have dedicated countless hours to raising and prepping for the event.  

The Samson Solar Energy Center contributed a total of $8,000.00 – a large portion of which went to the purchase of one of the largest steers shown during the auction! Many of the students who auction their animals use the money for scholarships, continued education, and in other ways to support their future as farmers and landowners.
