Samson Solar Celebrates Ribbon Cutting with Emergency Services Donations

In March 2023, Samson Solar had a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Lamar and Red River Counties Chambers of Commerce to celebrate its operational phases. The event hosted long-term landowners and community members and featured a flag raising by five veterans from the Deport Volunteer Fire Department, including their captain. This event was a celebration of all the hard work and collaboration behind the Samson project.

Along with the ribbon cutting, Invenergy supported the surrounding Northeast Texas Community by donating $20,000 between four local emergency relief groups: the United Way of Lamar County, the Deport Volunteer Fire Department, the Bogota Volunteer Fire Department, and the Taylortown Volunteer Fire Department.
